Care Instructions
To look after your wood and resin product, I recommend the following:
Extremes in temperature and humidity can cause the wood in your board to warp.
To prevent this please keep it at room temperature.
If you are not able to do this any warping should be reversed by returning the board to room temperature for a minimum of 24 hours.
Do:
- Wipe your product with a soft cloth and warm soapy water to keep it clean
- Dry your product thoroughly after cleaning
- Avoid harsh cleaning products
- Shield your product from direct long exposure to sunlight, which may affect the colour of the resin
- Avoid contact with excessive heat, which can affect the wood or resin
To maintain your product, I recommend lightly rubbing with food safe oil on a regular basis.

Do not:
- Submerge your product in water
- Wash your product in a dishwasher
- Use epoxy products for contact with hot food, use with warm/cold food only.
- Use vegetable or olive oils as these can become rancid and begin to smell!
Cutting:
The products I make are mostly meant for displaying and serving. While you can cut on the wood, I do not recommend cutting on the resin artwork part of a board. Cutting on the resin will cause your knife to dull and can scratch the artwork. However, you can use a dull knife just fine for cheeses and spreads.
